About the Team

Dan Gazit, Professor of Medical Sciences at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, and Cedars Sinai Medical Center, California.

Dan is an initiator & academic partner of the project. His joining Yaniv brought about the project's breakthrough.

• Director of a professional center for breeding, training and treatment of assistance dogs, focusing on Labrador Retrievers.

• A lecturer at academic courses., a teacher and guide of at-risk youth.

• A trainer & author of programs for the Ministry of Education & academic bodies.

• Took part in behavioural studies at Tel Aviv University.

• Military service in an elite paratrooper unit. Active service in a regular paratrooper unit till the age of 37. Participated in the First Lebanon War & the Intifada.

• Community engagement & youth coordinator both in Israel and abroad.

• Head & Director of a cooperative agricultural society for 8 years.

• Born in 1961.
